Features

Everything the first release does. Screens shown are from the Android app as it is being built, and the Quran text, translations, recordings and dua collections ship only once their licences are cleared; the licences page shows which.

Prayer

Prayer times

Choose a calculation method, the Asr ruling you follow, a high-latitude rule and daylight-saving handling, and correct any prayer by a few minutes if your mosque differs. Official timetables from JAKIM, MUIS and KEMENAG are used where their terms allow and are always labelled with the source and zone.

Nothing is substituted silently. When an official table is not available for a day, the app says so on the screen and falls back to the calculation you chose. Dates follow the place you set, not the phone's clock, so travelling never shifts a day.

  • Muslim World League, ISNA, Egypt, Umm al-Qura, Karachi, Tehran, JAKIM, MUIS, KEMENAG, Diyanet and more, or your own angles
  • Shafi'i or Hanafi Asr; high-latitude rules for the far north and south
  • Location by GPS or by typing a city or coordinates
The Today screen: Kuala Lumpur with its calculation method, a 3-day streak, the next prayer Asr at 4:16 PM with a countdown, and today's prayers with Fajr ticked.

Prayer tracker

One tap on a prayer row marks it prayed. A long press logs it as late or qada, or clears it. Weekly insights and streaks without guilt: a missed day is a number, not a lecture.

  • Tick prayers on Today or in the week's date strip
  • Late and qada logs
  • A qada log to work through missed prayers
The Prayers screen: a date strip for the week, today's prayers with a reminder icon for each, Asr marked as next, and a button to view the monthly timetable.

Reminders and adhan

Each prayer has its own mode: adhan, tone, silent or vibrate, with an optional reminder a few minutes before. Quiet hours follow the zone of the place you set. An optional full-screen alarm wakes you for Fajr over the lock screen.

Phones limit what any app can do. Battery optimisation, power-saving modes and some manufacturers' settings can delay or drop alarms. The reminder setup checklist shows what your phone allows and what to change, and a test reminder lets you check it yourself.

Adhan recordings are added once their rights are confirmed; until then a gentle tone plays.

  • Adhan, tone, silent or vibrate for each prayer
  • Early reminders 5 to 30 minutes before
  • Quiet hours, and a full-screen Fajr alarm
  • A setup checklist and a test reminder
Reminder setup: a checklist of phone settings (notifications, alarms and reminders, battery optimisation, full-screen Fajr alarm) with each item marked OK or Action needed.

Monthly timetable

Every prayer for the month in one table, today highlighted. Share it as an image or a PDF. Days that come from a different source are marked in the table and named in its footer.

The monthly timetable for October 2026: one row per day with Fajr, Sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr and Maghrib, today highlighted, and a share button.

Qibla

A compass with calibration guidance, an accuracy indicator, and the bearing and distance to the Kaaba, with a plain instruction to turn left or right. It works offline and with a manually chosen location.

The Qibla compass from Kuala Lumpur: bearing 293 degrees, 6,974 km, high accuracy, and the instruction "Turn left 12°".

Quran and remembrance

Quran

Navigate by sura, juz, hizb or page, or search Arabic (ignoring diacritics), translations and sura names. Read ayah by ayah with translations and transliteration, or in mushaf page mode. Uthmani and IndoPak scripts, tajweed colours, font scaling, light, dark and sepia themes, keep-screen-on and last-read resume.

Audio plays with ayah highlighting, repeat ranges and speed control, streamed by default with optional downloads by sura or juz and a storage manager. Bookmarks, highlights, notes and a personal reading goal with a khatam planner. The full text works offline.

Every translation shows its translator and edition. Which scripts, translations and reciters ship depends on the rights we can confirm; the licences page shows the current state.

Duas and dhikr

Hisnul Muslim in full, Al-Ma'thurat, morning and evening routines and essential duas by situation, each with Arabic, transliteration, translation and its source reference. Favourites and counters.

The dua collections ship once their sources are verified; the licences page shows the current state of each.

Tasbih

Presets of 33, 99 or 100 or a count of your own, loops, haptics, an optional sound and a session history, with dhikr presets and their meanings.

The 99 Names

The 99 Names of Allah with meanings and explanations. The text ships once its source is verified, where rights allow; audio follows only if a licensed recording is ready.

Calendar and zakat

Calendar and Ramadan

Hijri and Gregorian dates side by side, with per-country moon-sighting adjustments and a one-day override of your own. Islamic dates with notes. Ramadan mode shows imsak and iftar countdowns and a fasting tracker, with optional reminders for Monday, Thursday and the white days.

Zakat calculator

Zakat on wealth for cash and bank balances, gold and silver by weight or value, business inventory and receivables, investments at market value and debts receivable, minus short-term liabilities. Nisab from gold (85 g) or silver (595 g) at prices you enter, with the currency, unit and date shown. The rate is 2.5% once a lunar year has passed. Zakat al-fitr with a local rate entry.

Not supported in v1: agriculture, livestock, mining, pension nuances and madhhab-specific treatment of debts. Each line shows its assumption. Results are informational; consult your local zakat authority.

On every phone, for every reader

Widgets

Home-screen widgets for the next prayer with a countdown, all of today's prayers, the tracker, a daily ayah and a quick tasbih counter. On iPhone, a Live Activity keeps the next prayer on the lock screen.

Languages

English, Bahasa Melayu and Arabic, with Indonesian next. Arabic gets a full right-to-left layout and Arabic numerals, and Hijri month names follow your language.

The Today screen in Arabic, laid out right to left, with Arabic numerals.

Accessibility and themes

Text scales to the largest system size in Latin and Arabic script without clipping. Strong contrast in every theme, touch targets of at least 48 dp, screen-reader labels on every control, reduced motion when your phone asks for it, and no meaning carried by colour alone.

Light and dark themes follow your phone or your choice, and the Quran reader adds a sepia theme for long sessions.

The Today screen at 160% text size: the next prayer card and each prayer row grow without clipping.

Three screens to start

Language and location, the prayer-time source (detected for you and easy to change), and reminder permissions with an explanation of what your phone allows. Nothing else stands between installing the app and seeing the next prayer.

Settings

Location, calculation and timetable source, Asr method, high-latitude rule, corrections, Hijri adjustment, reminder modes and sounds, Quran defaults, language, theme, text size, reduced motion, storage and privacy, with an about page that lists every content source and its licence.

Your data and your money

Offline and private

Everything core works signed out and offline: prayer times, reminders, the Quran text, duas, tasbih, the compass and the calendar.

No ads, no advertising identifiers, no third-party behavioural tracking. Crash reports are scrubbed so they never contain your location, your reading history or your worship records. Optional usage counters are off by default.

Accounts and sync

An account is optional. Sign in with Apple, Google or an email link only if you want your settings, bookmarks, notes, tracker and tasbih sessions on more than one device. Export everything as JSON or delete the account and its data from inside the app.

Free, with no ads

Prayer times, reminders, the Quran text and basic audio, duas, the calendar, zakat and every accessibility feature are free, with no ads. After launch, a one-time Supporter purchase may unlock cosmetic extras such as themes and compass and tasbih skins.
