Privacy
Muslim Daily is built so that there is very little to say here. This page says all of it.
This website
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from third parties: no fonts, scripts, images or embeds from other domains. It stores nothing in your browser.
The hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs (IP address, requested page, browser type, time) for operating the service. We do not combine them with anything else.
The app
Muslim Daily works without an account and without an internet connection. Prayer times, reminders, the Quran text, duas, the tasbih and the calendar are computed and stored on your phone.
Your location is used on the phone to compute prayer times and the qibla direction. It is not sent to us. If you choose an official timetable, the app downloads that timetable for your zone; the request names the zone, not your coordinates.
The app contains no advertising, no advertising identifiers and no third-party behavioural tracking of any kind.
Crash reports
If the app crashes, a report may be sent to Sentry, the crash-reporting service we use, so we can fix the fault. Reports are scrubbed before they leave the phone: they never contain your location, your Quran reading history, your worship or tracker records, or any account identifier beyond a random installation id. Crash reporting can be switched off in the app's privacy settings.
Optional usage counters
The app can keep a few first-party counters, such as which features are opened and which reminder mode is chosen, to help us decide what to improve. They are off by default. If you turn them on, the settings screen lists every counter that exists.
Accounts and sync
An account is optional and exists only to sync your settings, bookmarks, highlights, notes, tracker logs and tasbih sessions between your devices. You can sign in with Apple, Google or an email link. Synced data is stored with Supabase, our database provider, in a region in Singapore, and is only ever readable by you.
You can export everything in your account as a JSON file and delete the account, with all of its data, from inside the app.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect personal data from children, and it needs none to work. An account is never required.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it and the changelog page records what was altered.
